NRA Pistol Instructor Training
NRA Pistol Instructor Training will help you develop the additional knowledge, skills and techniques needed to organize and teach the NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Class. This NRA Instructor Training Course is designed to teach you how to teach others to shoot using NRA lesson plans and training methods. This course is not designed to improve your shooting skills. Possession of basic firearm safety and shooting skills are a prerequisite for certification as an NRA instructor. You will be expected to demonstrate safe, shooting skills through participation in a pre-course assessment.
The NRA Pistol Instructor Course consists of two parts
Part One: Basic Instructor Training (6 hours) $120.00
Part Two: NRA Pistol Instructor Training (10 hours)* $200.00
Total Training Package $320.00
*Travel to and from Albuquerque Shooting Range Park adds two hours and makes it impractical to conduct Part 2 in one day.
Price include: tuition, taxes, NRA training materials, and range fees. Students must provide their own ammunition.
Members of Zia Rifle and Pistol Club and Los Lunas Gun Club receive an $80.00 discount for this 17 hour package.
