Classes
Deliberate Defense offers a progressive training series. The goal of the series is to meet the needs of multiple levels of comfort and training with handguns. We have learned through experience that some people are new to handguns, some are proficient target shooters, and some just want to get out and learn to shoot tactically.
It is our experience that someone who wants to carry a handgun to protect themselves or those they love, should at the very least complete the Intermediate handgun and preferably the Advanced handgun class. These classes give you the tools to effectively train and become confident with a handgun. Besides that they are simply a lot of fun.
You do not need to have one in order to take the next level, but it can be beneficial to discuss with an instructor what class would be most effective to start with based on your personal level of training and comfort with a handgun.
